Tournan-en-Brie


Tournan-en-Brie, or simply Tournan, is a commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France. It is located in the Paris metropolitan area.

History

In the fourteenth century a castle was mentioned belonging to the House of Garlande, whose lords were Guy de Garlande, Anseau Ier de Garlande, Anseau II de Garlande, Robert of Garlande and Anseau III of Garlande.

Transportation

Tournan is the terminus
station of a regional railway line starting from the Gare Saint Lazare RER E / EOLE in Paris.

Demographics
