Tom Mason (Scottish politician)


Thomas Gee Mason is a Scottish Conservative politician who is a Member of the Scottish Parliament for the North East Scotland region. Mason was sworn in on 20 June 2017, following the resignation of Ross Thomson.
He was educated at King's College London and the Cranfield School of Management.
Mason is also a councillor on Aberdeen City Council.

Political career

Mason stood unsuccessfully for the Scottish Parliament as the Conservative candidate in the Aberdeen Central constituency in 1999 and 2016.
In the 2017 Aberdeen council election he was elected as a councillor, then became depute Provost.
