Tom Hoge


Tom Hoge is an American professional golfer.

Amateur career

Hoge was born in Statesville, North Carolina and grew up and still resides in Fargo, North Dakota. He played college golf at Texas Christian University where he won two events. He placed tied for third in the individual portion of the 2009 NCAA Golf Championship. He also won several North Dakota and Minnesota amateur titles.

Professional career

Hoge turned professional after graduating from college in 2011. He started playing on the Canadian Tour and won the 2011 Canadian Tour Players Cup. He played on the Web.com Tour from 2012 to 2014 and has played on the PGA Tour since 2015. His best finishes on the Web.com Tour were a pair second-place finishes at the 2013 BMW Charity Pro-Am and the 2015 Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship.
Hoge has played on the PGA Tour since 2015. Hoge held the lead after 36-holes along with Tiger Woods at the 2015 Wyndham Championship. His first 54-hole lead was at the 2018 Sony Open in Hawaii where he climbed from second after 36 holes. He eventually finished in third place.
