Tom Alan Robbins


Tom Alan Robbins is an American actor. He is best known for originating the role of Pumbaa in The Lion King on Broadway. He also appeared in the Broadway production of Is He Dead?, a comedy written by Mark Twain, as Hans von Bismarck, a role which he originated in 2007. He has been on television shows including Seinfeld, NYPD Blue, Law & Order, The Good Wife, and Baby Talk.
Robbins, a native of Ohio, has appeared in the original Broadway casts of The Lion King, The Threepenny Opera, Jerome Robbins' Broadway, Sunset Boulevard, Once Upon a Mattress, and Is He Dead?. He played Thenardier in a national tour of Les Misérables.
His Off-Broadway credits include On the Verge, Isn't It Romantic?, The Rise and Rise of Daniel Rocket, The Cradle Will Rock. He has been in the cast of Henry V as part of the New York Shakespeare Festival. He is an alumnus of The Acting Company.
Tom graduated from Lehman High School in Canton, Ohio. Tom graduated from The Juilliard School. He is married to Leslie Geraci.
