Tim McAuliffe


Tim McAuliffe is a Canadian comedy writer, television producer and occasional actor from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, known for his work on The Last Man On Earth, The Office, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Up All Night, Corner Gas, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, and creating the TV series Happy Together, and Satisfaction.

Career

Tim is currently the creator/executive producer/showrunner of the CBS TV sitcom, Happy Together. The show is based on the life of Harry Styles and Ben Winston, both of whom are producers. Previously he was the Showrunner / Executive Producer of the FOX comedy, The Last Man On Earth. Tim's past credits include: writer/producer on the Emmy-winning, long-running NBC show, The Office, writer for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, writer for NBC's Maya & Marty, writer/producer for CBS TVs Bad Teacher, writer/producer on NBC's Up All Night.
Tim also recently created, wrote and executive produced Fantasy Life, a pilot for FOX Broadcasting Corporation starring Kevin Connoly, Jamie-Lynn Siegler, Vanessa Williams, Rob "Gronk" Gronkowski, Russell Wilson, and various members of the Fox Football TV Crew. It was based on The New York Times Best Selling Book, Fantasy Life by ESPN host Matthew Berry, who also served as Executive Producer.
In Canada, he was showrunner/executive producer/writer on CBC TV's long-running This Hour Has 22 Minutes, a writer for English Canada's most successful sitcom of all time, CTV's Corner Gas, and the creator/executive producer/showrunner of CTV's Satisfaction.  He has also written a series of live gala performances at the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival.  He also co-created, wrote and executive produced with co-creator Howie Mandel an autobiographical sitcom which was produced by Global TV in Canada, starring Howie Mandel and his son, Alex Mandel.  He has won two Writers Guild of Canada Awards.
