There's Someone Inside Your House (film)


There's Someone Inside Your House is an upcoming American slasher film directed by Patrick Brice, from a screenplay by Henry Gayden, and based upon Stephanie Perkins' 2017 novel of the same name. It stars Sydney Park, Theodore Pellerin, Asjha Cooper, Dale Whibley, Jesse LaTourette, Burkely Duffield, Diego Josef, Markian Tarasiuk and Sarah Dugdale.
The film is expected to be released on Netflix in 2020.

Synopsis

The film follows the story of Makani Young, a senior transfer student who later finds herself in the center of gruesome murder cases. As her classmates at Osborne High are targeted and brutally slaughtered by an unknown masked assailant, Makani attempts to confront the dark secrets that the victims harbored and races against time to uncover the motives and identity of the serial killer, to stop the continuing massacre at her new town.

In March 2018, Deadline reported that Netflix had partnered with 21 Laps Entertainment and Atomic Monster Productions to create a film adaptation based on the novel There's Someone Inside Your House by Stephanie Perkins. After an official announcement, it was confirmed that Shawn Levy, James Wan, Dan Cohen and Michael Clear would serve as producers on the film. In March 2019, it was announced that Patrick Brice would direct the film from a screenplay by Henry Gayden. In August 2019, Sydney Park, Theodore Pellerin, Asjha Cooper, Dale Whibley, Jesse LaTourette, Burkely Duffield, Diego Josef, Zane Clifford and Sarah Dugdale joined the cast of the film.

Filming

began in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on August 22, 2019, and ended on October 12, 2019.

Release

The film is expected to be released sometime in 2020.
