The ciliate, dasycladacean and Hexamita nuclear code is a genetic code used by certain ciliate, dasycladacean and Hexamita species.
The ciliate macronuclear code has not been determined completely. The codon UAA is known to code for Gln only in the Oxytrichidae.The code
