The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Samoa


The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Samoa reported 82,092 members in 20 stakes, 158 congregations, one mission, and one temple, as of December 31, 2018.

History

In 2019, LDS Church President Russell M. Nelson met with His Highness Tuimalealiifano Vaaletoa Sualauvi II of Samoa.
In 2020, the LDS Church canceled services and other public gatherings indefinitely in response to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

Missions

On August 5, 1983 the Apia Samoa Temple was dedicated by President Gordon B. Hinckley.
