The Bachelor (season 22)
The 22nd season of The Bachelor premiered on January 1, 2018. This season features 36-year-old Arie Luyendyk Jr., a real estate agent and race car driver from Scottsdale, Arizona.
Luyendyk was the runner-up on the eighth season of The Bachelorette featuring Emily Maynard. The season concluded on March 5, 2018 in which 27-year-old publicist Becca Kufrin was named the winner. During the finale, Luyendyk subsequently ended his engagement with Kufrin and admitted that he was still in love with runner-up Lauren Burnham. He proposed to Burnham in the After the Final Rose special. Arie and Lauren married one year later, and are currently living together in Phoenix, Arizona with their daughter, Alessi Ren Luyendyk.

On September 7, 2017, during Good Morning America, Luyendyk was announced as the next Bachelor over The Bachelorette season 13 runner-up Peter Kraus, who was the fan favorite choice for the role. Many fans were in disbelief in response to Kraus' decision and the producers selected Luyendyk as a last minute direct replacement.Production

Bibiana Julian and Lauren Griffin returned for The Bachelor Winter Games under Team USA. Griffin was eliminated during week 1. Julian quit during week 4.''The Bachelorette''

Season 5Julian returned for the fifth season of Bachelor in Paradise on her third Bachelor Nation appearance along with first-time returnees Annaliese Puccini, Chelsea Roy, Kendall Long, Krystal Nielson, Nysha Norris, Tia Booth, Jenna Cooper, Caroline Lunny, Jacqueline Trumbull, and Olivia Goethals. Julian, Lunny, Norris, and Trumbull were eliminated during week 2, and Roy during week 4. Booth split from her partner, Colton Underwood, during week 4. Long split from her partner, Joe Amabile, during week 5 but reunited with him outside of Paradise. Goethals split from her partner, John Graham, during week 6. Puccini left Paradise in a relationship with Kamil Nicalek, while Cooper and Nielson ended the season engaged to Jordan Kimball and Chris Randone, respectively.
Season 6
Puccini and Julian returned for the sixth season of Bachelor in Paradise. Both were eliminated during week 1.
Australia season 2
Lunny appeared in the Australian version of Bachelor in Paradise. She left the show in week 7 to pursue a relationship with fellow US contestant, Alex Bordyukov, who was also competing on that season. However, the pair is no longer together.
