Terra Nova, Pernambuco


Terra Nova is a city in the Brazilian state of Pernambuco, 572 km away from the state's capital, Recife. The population in 2009, according with IBGE was 9.801 inhabitants and the total area is 360.86 km².

Geography

The main economic activities in Terra Nova are based in agribusiness, especially creation of goats, sheep, cattle, pigs, chickens; and plantations of onions, tomatoes and rice.
