Tennis at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Mixed doubles


The mixed doubles tennis tournament at the 2012 Olympic Games in London was held from 1 to 5 August on the grass courts of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon.
Tie-breaks were used for the first two sets of each match, which was the best of three sets. If the score was tied at one set all, a 'super tie-break' would be used.
This was the first time mixed doubles was included in the Olympic tennis programme since Paris in 1924, when Hazel Wightman and Richard Williams won gold.
The gold medal was won by Victoria Azarenka and Max Mirnyi, who defeated Laura Robson and Andy Murray in the final 2–6, 6–3, . The bronze medal was won by Lisa Raymond and Mike Bryan, who defeated Sabine Lisicki and Christopher Kas in the bronze medal match 6–3, 4–6, .
