Temitope Ogunsemo


Temitope Ogunsemo is a Nigerian technology entrepreneur. He is the founder and CEO of Krystal Digital, an information technology company providing information management system to government-owned secondary schools in Nigeria.

Early life and education

Ogunsemo is an alumnus of King's College, Lagos where he completed his secondary education. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Ibadan and a Master of Science degree in Information Management System from the University of Salford, UK.

Career

Ogunsemo worked on a number of projects before founding his company, Krystal Digital one he started only after going through an ordeal in recovering his transcript from his Alma mater. Ogunsemo said:
"I saw the opportunity to develop a school management system that would not only improve the storage and retrieval of academic records but also position these schools to harness the benefits of digitization."

Krystal Digital

In 2011, Ogunsemo founded Krystal Digital, an Edtech company with personal savings and zero funding. Today, the company's flagship product, Myskool Portal boast of over 65,000 active student users and is functional in all government-owned secondary schools in Nigeria. In 2017, Krystal Digital won the Tech company of the year award at the Nigeria Technology Award. In November 2018, Krystal Digital was awarded Most Enterprising ICT Organisation at the Nigeria entrepreneurs Award ceremony.
