Tara Newz

Tara Newz was a 24-hour Bengali language news channel, covering local news of West Bengal and Bangladesh as well as national and international news, operated by Broadcast Worldwide Limited, a public limited company, with other channels under its umbrella, viz. TARA Muzik, and TV Southasia. Tara Newz was formally launched on 21 February 2005, the International Mother Language Day.
The channel was shut down on 15 April 2013.
