Takuto Otoguro is a Japanese world champion freestyle wrestler.

Early career

Otoguro begun wrestling when he was very young. During his junior high school years, he studied and trained at the Elite Academy, which is hosted by the Japanese Olympic Committee..
At the 2015 Cadet World Championships, Otoguro became a world champion among wrestlers aged 17 and under at the 54 kilogram weight class..

Senior career

Otoguro won a gold medal at the 2018 World Wrestling Championships at the age of 19. In doing so, he became the youngest Japanese wrestler ever to win a world title.
Winning the Senior world championships in 2018 appointed Otoguro the award of one of the "Breakout Performers" of the year.
