Sylvia Weinstock
Sylvia Weinstock is an American baker and cake-decorator.
Weinstock's first career was as an elementary school teacher on Long Island, where she raised three children. She started her cake baking and decoration company when she was 50 years old, after surviving breast cancer.
She has made decorative cakes for a variety of celebrities, including Oprah Winfrey, Kim Kardashian and Martha Stewart. Her cakes avoid using fondant for decoration. Instead, she focuses on buttercream and stenciled patterns.
She has appeared as a guest judge on the Netflix series Nailed It! and was described as the show's "secret weapon".
