Susana Baron Supervielle


Susana Baron Supervielle de Tresca was an Argentine composer.
Born in Buenos Aires, Supervielle studied at various times with Nadia Boulanger, Vera Vaurabourg, Furio Francheschini, Hans Koellreuter, Gilardo Gilardi, and Juan Carlos Paz. She was a member of the Agrupación Nueva Música. Her output consisted largely of chamber music for various combinations of instruments; she also composed songs and works for piano. For much of her life she lived in São Paulo, where she died.
