Susan Durham


Susan Durham is an American Board Certified Neurosurgeon and a Member of The Society of Neurological Surgeons. An associate professor at the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, she is also Division Chief of Neurosurgery at the University of Vermont Medical Center.

Education & Career

After studying at The Dartmouth Institute For Health Policy and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Durham did an internship and a residency at the University of Pennsylvania. That was followed by fellowships at Louisiana State University School of Medicine and the Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
Durhams treats spina bifida, pediatric brain tumors, hydrocephalus, tethered spinal cord, Chiari 1 malformation, and other conditions.
She also does research and publishes in these areas.
