Stephen J. Tanner
Stephen J. Tanner is the Chief of the Halton Regional Police Service in Ontario, Canada. He was appointed in September 2012.
Previously, he was Chief of Police of the Kingston Police Force in Kingston, Ontario. He was appointed September 27, 2008 to succeed William J. Cross. He was also Chief of Belleville Police Service.Education
Tanner graduated from the University of Guelph in 1982, with a psychology degree and graduated from University of Western Ontario with a master of public administration.
