Springfield Parish, New Brunswick


Springfield is a civil parish in Kings County, New Brunswick, Canada. For governance purposes it is divided between the village of Norton and the local service district of the parish of Norton.

History

Springfield Parish was established in 1786: probably named for the town of Springfield in New Jersey or for the town of Springfield in Massachusetts: included parts of Studholm Parish and Havelock Parish until 1840.
