Slovenian Women's Volleyball League


The Slovenian Women's Volleyball League is a women's volleyball competition organized by the Slovenian Volleyball Federation. It was created in 1991 after Slovenia has left Yugoslavia and became independent state.

History

In 1991 After Slovenia has Left Yugoslavia Union and became an independent State, An Independent Volleyball body was created OZS the body has created the First Slovenian Women's League in 1992 since that year many teams has participated from various places in the country, among these teams from Maribor comes Nova KBM Branik a record holder for 16 titles alongside with OK Kamnik from Kamnik that comes second with 4 titles in the recent years it is the best league rivalry then third we find OK Hit Nova Gorica with three titles.
