Sinder
Sinder, is a rural commune composed by q located in the region of Tillabéri Niger.
Sinder is the place of the Wogo people and their language is Wogo ciné formed from Songhai/Zarma languages. The commune was formed by a king fled from Gao during the fall of Songhai Empire.
Its habitants are farmers and fishermen. They cultivate rice, maize, pepper, onions etc alongside the River Niger and cereals like Manioc, Millet and sorghum, okoro during the raining season. Rules by an amiru Mamoudou Djingarey a descendant of its first king.
