Shub-Niggurath (band)
Shub-Niggurath was an avant-rock/zeuhl band from France founded in 1982 by Alain Ballaud, and remained active until Ballaud's death from cancer in 1995. The band is named after one of the deities in Cthulhu Mythos created by the American horror writer H. P. Lovecraft.
Their debut album was Les Morts Vont Vite, released in 1986 by Musea label, received critical acclaim for its innovative avant-garde inclinations, and major developments over Magma sound.Band members
