Sheepwalk Lake

Sheepwalk Lake is a nature reserve north-east of Chertsey in Surrey. It is managed by the Surrey Wildlife Trust.
This former gravel pit was allowed to flood, unlike many others in the area which were used for landfill sites. It is used by more than 100 species of resident and migratory birds, including, kingfishers, herons, tufted ducks, moorhens, coots, cormorants and great crested grebes.
There is access by a footpath from Littleton Lane.
