Selma, Kansas


Selma is an unincorporated community in Anderson County, Kansas, United States.

History

A post office was opened in Selma in 1887, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1956.
The town was at the junction of the Kansas, Nebraska and Dakota Railroad and the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad. The MKT maintained a passenger depot in Selma until some time in the 1940s.
