Political activities

In 2014, National Journal described Fieler as one of a growing group of "relatively anonymous free-spenders" funding their own political organizations. Fieler advocates returning to the gold standard, and initiated an unsuccessful campaign opposing the confirmation of Janet Yellen as Chairwoman of the Federal Reserve. Fieler has served as president of the Chiaroscuro Foundation and on the boards of the Witherspoon Institute, the Institute for American Values, the Susan B. Anthony List, and the Dominican Foundation.
