Score Group plc is an international engineering business based in Peterhead, Scotland.

Background

The company was founded by Charles Ritchie in 1982 and is based in Peterhead, Scotland, where it was the largest private sector employer in 2007.
The Score Group plc comprises over 20 separate companies worldwide, all involved in engineering and generally supporting the oil and gas industry with valve and gas turbines maintenance.
Score Europe ltd were awarded the title of Large Employer of the Year by Skills Development Scotland at the 2013 Scottish Modern Apprenticeship awards. Score previously won the Employer of the Year Award in 2008.
Score Diagnostics ltd is a manufacturer of pioneering acoustic emissions equipment which allows leakage within valves to be identified through non-intrusive means. The Score Diagnostics product range is named Midas and is led by the handheld Midas Meter.
The headquarters of the company are on the site where the Glenugie Distillery once stood.
The company were bought by SCF partners in December 2019
