Sarah Snook


Sarah Snook is an Australian actress. She is known for her starring roles in numerous films, including Sisters of War, Not Suitable for Children, These Final Hours, Predestination, The Dressmaker, and Steve Jobs. For her performance in Predestination, she won the AACTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
In 2018, Snook began her starring role as Siobhan "Shiv" Roy in the HBO satirical comedy-drama series Succession, for which she received a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2020.

Early life

Snook was born in Adelaide, Australia and grew up in a house on Shepherds Hill Road, Eden Hills. She attended St John's Grammar School and Scotch College, and graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 2008.

Career

While at NIDA, Snook performed in stage productions of Macbeth and Gallipoli.
She subsequently appeared in King Lear with the State Theatre Company of South Australia and as Saint Joan in the Sydney Theatre Company's production in 2018.
She has starred in the films Not Suitable for Children, These Final Hours, Predestination, and Jessabelle. Snook currently plays a lead role in the HBO series Succession, as Siobhan "Shiv" Roy.
