Salman Akbar


Salman Akbar is a Former Captain and Goalkeeper of the Pakistan Men's Hockey Team. He is a veteran of 230 games. He has represented Pakistan in the 2004 and 2008 Olympics. He lives in Holland.
In 2018, he was appointed as Japan's Men's Teams Goalkeeping Coach.

Won silver medal in Common Wealth Games Melbourne,Australia. Bronze in Asian Games Doha,Qatar and played world cup Mönchengladbach, Germany.

Presented Pakistan in Beijing,China Olympics

2010

In November, Akbar was a part of the gold medal winning team at the Asian Games in Guangzhou, China. At the 2010 Asian games he has rewarded as a best goal keeper in the tournament Beijing, China. Played world cup Delhi,India
