Salil Prabhakar
Salil Prabhakar from DigitalPersona Inc., Fremont, CA was named a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers in 2012 for contributions to biometrics technology.
Prabhakar founded Delta ID Inc in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2011. Prior to that he was part of the initial core Aadhar team as a bio-metric expert. Salil Prabhakar completed his Ph.D. from Michigan State University in 2001. He graduated in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Varanasi in 1996.
