Sakaide, Kagawa


Sakaide is a city located in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan. Sakaide once flourished with salt production.
As of May 2017, the city has an estimated population of 52,281 and a population density of 570 persons per km². The total area is 92.46 km².
The city was founded on July 1, 1942. The Great Seto Bridge connects it with Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture across the Inland Sea.
