Saifee Burhani Upliftment Trust
Saifee Burhani Upliftment Trust is a trust responsible for India's biggest urban redevelopment project which is Bhendi Bazaar Redevelopment Project. It was established in 2009, with the permission of the Late Dr. Syedna Mohammed BurhanuddinRA to undertake the redevelopment of one of India's most vibrant locality popularly known as 'Bhendi Bazaar'. The trust is run by the leader of Dawoodi Bohra community, Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin.
Project Progress
As of May 2019, the first building of Phase 1 - 'Al-Sa'adah' is nearing completion. Al-Sa'adah is a 41-storeyed high-rise and will house 614 families and 80 shops.
