Rushworth railway line

The Rushworth line was a short branch line, used predominantly for grain traffic, which branched off the Goulburn Valley Line at Murchison East. It opened in September 1890.
The line was eventually extended to Colbinabbin, opening in August 1914, and a branch from Rushorth to Girgarre opened in May 1917. The line to Girgarre was closed back to Stanhope in 1975, and the remaining sections were closed in October 1987.
