Rufous-fronted wood quail


The rufous-fronted wood quail is a species of bird in the family Odontophoridae.
It is found in Colombia and Ecuador. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.

Feeding

The Rufous-fronted wood quail eats insects and nuts especially in summer, as well as plants. Unlike many other bird species, they require a high protein diet.
