Strathmore

Cortachy

north
of
Kirriemuir
. Its
course
takes
it
past
Brechin
and enters
the North
Sea
at
Montrose
.
The river
gives
its name to the
title
of
Earl of Southesk
, held by the
Carnegie family
.
