Richard Goddard is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. He played at representative level for England, and at club level for Stanley Rangers ARLFC, Wakefield Trinity, Castleford Tigers, York Wasps and Sheffield Eagles, as a.Goddard won a cap for England while at Castleford Tigers in 1995 against France.Goddard played as an interchange/substitute in Wakefield Trinity's 29–16 victory over Sheffield Eagles in the 1992–93 Yorkshire County Cup Final during the 1992–93 season at Elland Road, Leeds on Sunday 18 October 1992.Richard Goddard is the youngest player to make his début for Wakefield Trinity aged 16-years 3-months and 29-days in 1990.
