Richard Fielder

Richard Fielder was an English professional cricketer who made 20 known appearances in first-class cricket matches between 1790 and 1801. He played mainly for Kent sides but also represented Surrey and England sides. He was noted as "a very fine field and catch".
Fielder was born at East Malling in Kent. He worked as a horse trainer and is thought to have eloped with one of his riding pupils. Afterwards they kept the Woolpack Inn, near Tenterden.
