Repton School is owned by private equity group Evolvence Capital who also own Foremarke School Dubai's preparatory slipstream, Foremarke School Dubai.

Jonathan Hughes D’aeth was the school's first headmaster, serving from 2009 to 2017, succeeded by David Cook.
The school is divided into junior and senior campuses and has a boarding facility, with 70 boarders in 2010.
The school also has a Repton circle which is a grass circle shape in the middle, with trees around its circumference and a pathway behind its circumference to connect the school together.

Houses in Repton School represent teams which students join in Year 3. There are different activities such as interhouse football, a tournament of all the houses and whatever house wins receives an award such as a trophy. Most houses have black ties with whatever colour the house is associated with. For example Foremarke is red so their ties are black with red stripes going downwards diagonally.
