Red-billed pied tanager


The red-billed pied tanager is a small passerine bird, a member of the family Mitrospingidae. It is the only member of the genus Lamprospiza.
The red-billed pied tanager is in length and weighs. It lives in the Amazon Rainforest of Brazil, Bolivia, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru and Suriname. It occurs in groups of 3-6 individuals. It forages in mixed flocks for fruits in trees.
