Ray Downey Raymond Tyler Downey is a Canadian boxer , who won a light middleweight bronze medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics . In 1990 he gained silver at the 1990 Commonwealth Games . He is a member of Nova Scotia's "Boxing Downeys" family of fighters. His father was boxer David Downey . Raymond has four children a son Tylor Flint, daughter Raya Flint, also two younger daughters Genevia and Summer Downey.Downey turned pro in 1994 with much success. He retired in 2000 with a pro record of 16-2-1.
