Ravin Jesuthasan


Ravin Jesuthasan is a futurist, speaker and author on the future of work and human capital.

Early life and education

Jesuthasan received a B.B.A. in Finance and Commercial Law from Western Michigan University in 1992. Later in 1994 he earned an M.B.A. in Finance from Western Michigan University in 1994.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst since June 2000.

Career

From 1992 to 1993, Jesuthasan was a consultant at Accenture. He then moved to Willis Towers Watson where today Jesuthasan holds the position of the Managing Director of Talent and Rewards.
Being a regular contributor at the World Economic Forum , he has led numerous research projects for the WEF including the studies "Strategies for the New Economy: Skills as the Currency of the Labour Market ", "HR4.0: Shaping People Strategies in the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the recently launched "Workforce Principles for the COVID-19 Pandemic Stakeholder Capitalism in a Time of Crisis ".
Jesuthasan has authored regularly for the Harvard Business Review and Forbes Magazine while being a frequent guest lecturer at Oxford University, Northwestern University and the University of Southern California.

Books

Jesuthasan has been awarded with the Axiom Award twice. In 2012 he received the Silver award for Transformative HR and in 2019 his book Reinventing Jobs was awarded with the Gold award.
In 2018, Silicon Republic included Jesuthasan amongst the “8 future of work influencers you need to know”. Two years later, HR Executive included him in its "2020 Top 100 HR Tech Influencers" list while he was also named to the Thinkers 50 Radar Class of 2020.
