Operators

Trains are operated by Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Togolais, which was established as a result of the restructuring and renaming of Réseau des Chemins de Fer du Togo from 1997 to 1998. Between Hahotoé and the port of Kpémé, the Compagnie Togolaise des Mines de Benin operated phosphate-trains.

is a participant in the AfricaRail project, an Indian proposal has surfaced to link the railways in Benin and Togo with landlocked Niger and Burkina Faso.
