Raglai people


The Raglai are an ethnic group of Vietnam.

Etymology

Thw word Raglai means forest in the Roglai language.

History

The Raglai are related to the Cham, with a population of 146,613. Most Raglai live in Khánh Hòa Province of Vietnam's South Central Coast, and Ninh Thuận Province in the Southeast region of Vietnam.
They speak a language in the Malayo-Polynesian language family.
They sing Akha Jukha, play Saraken and Chapi.
