Qanat-e Malek, Kerman


Qanat-e Malek, also known as Kahnau Malik or Kahnū Malek, is a village in Javaran Rural District, Hanza District, Rabor County, Kerman Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 338, in 77 families.
Qasem Soleimani, Iranian major general in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and from 1998 until his death, commander of its Quds Force, a division primarily responsible for extraterritorial military and clandestine operations was born in Qanat-e Malek.
