Purpurinidae
The Purpurinidae are an extinct family of sea snails, marine gastropod molluscs in the clade Littorinimorpha. According to taxonomy of the Gastropoda by Bouchet & Rocroi the family Purpurinidae has no subfamilies.These sea snails lived between the Upper Permian or Lopingian and the Lower Cretaceous. The fossils were found in Europe, Asia, North America and Africa.Genera
