Przemków


Przemków is a town in Polkowice County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in southwestern Poland. It is the seat of the administrative district called Gmina Przemków. The town lies approximately west of Polkowice, and northwest of regional capital Wrocław.
Prior to 1945 it was in Germany. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and its pre-war German populace was expelled under the Potsdam Agreement.
As of 2019, the town has a population of 6,107.
Przemków gives its name to the nearby protected area called Przemków Landscape Park.
