Prostki


Prostki is a village in Ełk County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina called Gmina Prostki. It lies approximately south of Ełk and east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany.
In 1656 the Battle of Prostken was fought nearby.
In 2006 the village had a population of 3,000.
