Primrose Lake


Primrose Lake is a large lake in Saskatchewan and Alberta, Canada. The lake straddles the Alberta/Saskatchewan border, with most of the water surface in Saskatchewan. It is close to the better known Cold Lake, Alberta.
Primrose Lake has a total area of, with water area and lies at an elevation of. It is connected to Cold Lake by the Martineau River.
Primrose Lake was used as launch site for sounding rockets of the types super Loki and Arcas in Canada at, which was in use between 1970 and 1981.
