Popstrangers


Popstrangers are a rock band. Formed in 2009 in Wellington, New Zealand, they relocated to London in 2013 or 2014.

History

The band was formed by singer and guitarist Joel Flyger, bassist Adam Page, and drummer Elliott Rawson in 2009 in Wellington, New Zealand.
In September 2009, Popstrangers release an eponymous EP and a split single with a band called Collapsing Cities.
In 2009 or 2010 drummer Elliott Rawson is replaced with Jimmy Mac. In 2010 the band releases an EP titled Happy Accidents.
Later drummer Jimmy Mac is replaced with David Larson. In 2013 the band releases a debut full-length album titled Antipodes.
Then the band relocates to London. Popstrangers' second full-length album, titled Fortuna, is released in 2014.
