Platycorynus peregrinus is a species of beetles belonging to the Chrysomelidae family.

This leaf eating beetle is primarily herbivorous and secondarily graminivorous. The preferred host plants are the very toxic Calotropis procera, various Digitaria species and some plants of economic importance.
