Pirre hummingbird
The Pirre hummingbird, also somewhat misleadingly known as the rufous-cheeked hummingbird, is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae. The species was first described by Edward William Nelson in 1912.
Found in Panama and far northwestern Colombia, its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forest. It is threatened by habitat loss.
